The Three Principles Of Success
The prophet Muhammad pbuh was a mercy to humanity. He taught us principles of success. He said “Strive for that which will benefit you, seek the help of Allah, and do not feel helpless.” Let us look at each of them.
1. Strive for that which will benefit you. Mark the word “strive” and “benefit.” Make efforts, strive for nothing gained without pain. His life was clear demonstration of this principle. He strived to enlighten humanity on what to believe and how to live. The human story of growth path is striving by default. More important, you need to choose what you will strive for in life. Is it anything? No! Beneficial stuff only. That which benefits you, benefits neighbor, benefits animals, benefits flora and fauna, benefits the current and future generations, benefits you in this world and the hereafter. So strive to become beneficial- Can you be a DPTP-Date Palm Tree Person? The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree.” Now it is upon you to figure out, why date palm tree and not other tree?
2. Seek the help of Allah all along. You wont make any achievement alone by your efforts or knowledge. You need A-team with shared vision, committed, responsible and accountable. We call these S.C.R.A traits of great teams. With all that, what can A-team achieve without the invincible hands? The help of Allah is needed all along. We must pray and seek His help on the following; increase of knowledge, #increase of patience, increase of thankfulness, increase of compassion, increase of faith, increase of righteous deeds to benefit many others, contented heart, full of positivity, hope and energy to keep moving forward in difficult times.
3. Do not feel helpless. You don’t walk alone in life. If all men forsakes you, Almighty has not. “And He is with you wherever you are.” Four feelings you shall fight them when they come along to shake you; helplessness, sadness, grief and envy. Three feelings to nurture them; love for Allah sake, thankfulness and a strong sense that God is watching you! Now it is your tim to walk the talk, become a doer!
What you need to be a doer? Self esteem. “The strongest factor for success is self-esteem. Believing you can do it, believing you deserve it, believing you will get it.
